Summary
In ten patients in stage II according to Fontaine of occlusive arterial disease in the lower extremities, procedures of physio- and
balneotherapy were applied over three weeks with or without simultaneous subcutaneous
CO2-gas insufflation. The therapeutical success of both methods was objectified by means
of the oscillometer index and the painless walking range. A better effect was observed
after completing health resort therapy by subcutaneous CO2-gas insufflations.
Zusammenfassung
Bei 10 Patienten im Stadium II nach Fontaine der arteriellen Verschlußkrankheit der unteren Extremitäten wurden die physiotherapeutischen
und Bäderbehandlungsmaßnahmen mit oder ohne gleichzeitige subkutane CO2-Gasinsufflation während drei Wochen angewandt. Der Therapieerfolg beider Verfahren
wurde mittels des Oszillometerindexes und der schmerzfreien Gehstrecke objektiviert.
Ein besserer Effekt wurde nach der Ergänzung der Kurorttherapie mit den subkutanen
CO2-Gasinsufflationen beobachtet.
