Summary

In order to enlarge the level of knowledge concerning the hydrological, the CO2 - and the radon regime of the Brambach mineral springs the 222Rn-content of the soil air was measured in the environment of the radon spring with the aim to excorporate the main directions of the clefts in the rock in this region. A scintillation chamber was used for the measurement of the α-radiation of 222Rn. The samples of the soil air were taken by means of sound and suction pump. The results of two measuring actions lead to main directions of the clefts W-E to WNW-ESE and NNW-SSE to N-S. Influences, such as, for instance, those of the moisture of the soil, on the spatial and temporary variation of the level of the activity and the maxima of activity are discussed.
