Abstract
The case of an infant who developed a mechanical ileus 4 weeks after operation for jejunal atresia is reported. The second laparotomy disclosed as further anomalies the portal vein lying in front of the duodenum (p.p.v.), malrotation with mesenterium commune, partial annular pancreas, and so-called "short-gut" syndrome. This is the first case of p.p.v. with an accompanying jejunal atresia. At the second operation a gastroduodenostomy was performed. L.-T.
