TOP-Service, Bad Essen, Deutschland) behandelt.

Abstract

Lingual treatment is an area of orthodontics that has gathered more and more interest especially in the past five years. It has become a common treatment option that the patients are demanding and it is therefore essential that orthodontists become proficient in this specialist field. Many lingual orthodontic societies have now been established, of major importance in Europe, is the European Society of Lingual Orthodontics (ESLO). It is a rapidly growing society with an increasing number of active members. The following article covers four case studies, in which patients were successfully treated by a custom made lingual appliance (Incognito). As a result of the case presentations, the authors became active members of ESLO.
