Roy L. J. van Wanrooij et al. Endoscopic ultrasound-guided gastroenterostomy versus duodenal stenting for malignant gastric outlet obstruction: an international, multicenter, propensity score-matched comparison

In this propensity score-matched comparison between endoscopic ultrasound-guided gastroenterostomy (EUS-GE) and endoscopic duodenal stenting, EUS-GE resulted in higher clinical success and lower stent dysfunction rates, with similar safety, compared with duodenal stenting. These results suggest that EUS-GE should be preferred over duodenal stenting in patients with malignant gastric outlet obstruction when adequate expertise is available.
