September 18–20th, 2025; Euroson School GIUS Berlin
BICUS and Campus-ACADEMY hosted the 2nd Euroson School in Gastrointestinal Ultrasound from September 18–20th in 2025. Twelve speakers from 3 countries (Germany, Norway, and Romania) presented
a broad spectrum of ultrasound diagnostics, particularly in the intestines. A hands-on
area with 10 workstations offered excellent opportunities to practice to the 52 participants
from 22 countries. Selected IBD patients were given live demonstrations by local colleagues.
The entire gastrointestinal tract was covered in ultrasound anatomy, examination techniques,
and pathology. The participants gained many ideas for their future work.
An evening spent together on the River Spree in pleasant late summer weather showed
Berlin at its best to the guests. The Euroson School was excellently organized by
the Campus-ACADEMY team, and the course directors, Professor Gilja and Professor Nürnberg,
agreed to repeat this program for international participants in 2 years.
