ESGE news and upcoming events March 2026
ESGE Days 2026
ESGE Days is approaching, in May, and we are keen for our delegates to make use of the discounted ‘Early Bird’ registration prices. They are available until March 31, 2026.
Should you be involved in exceptional research such as randomized controlled trials or meta-analyses, with significant impact in the field of endoscopy, you may wish to consider submitting a Late Breaking Abstract. The submission window is from March 3 to March 31, 2026.
New this year at ‘the Days’ is the Safe Sedation Course, which focuses on endoscopic procedural sedation, and will be exclusively in-person on the day before the main event (Wednesday 13 May). Under the direction of Professor Stefano Romagnoli, this course will offer a limited number of participants the opportunity to dive deep into critical aspects of sedation in the clinical setting, with a mixture of hands-on and didactic teaching based on new ESGE guidance.
ESGE Days 2026 will also see the launch of the following 3 Special Interest Groups (SIGs): ESD, HPB and Bariatric Endoscopy. The ESD SIG will connect clinicians across Europe and beyond, supporting guideline adoption, multicentre research, and case-based dialogue. The HPB community will help shape future curricula, drive multicentre trials, and provide continuous peer-to-peer exchange through ESGE Academy. The Bariatric Endoscopy will serve as a nucleus for education, research, and community-building. Join the dedicated SIG sessions if you are keen to know more.
