Zusammenfassung

WENN DIE FLEXION „ZUSCHLÄGT“: Kommen junge Sportler mit leichten muskulären Beschwerden in der Leistengegend zur physiotherapeutischen Behandlung, könnte dahinter ein Hüftimpingement stecken. Bei bestimmten Bewegungen schlägt der Femurkopf oder Schenkelhals gegen die Pfanne, was zur Knorpelzerstörung in der Pfanne führt. Arthrotische Beschwerden stellen sich ein, später folgt das künstliche Hüftgelenk. Ist jedoch die tatsächliche Pathomechanik erkannt und verstanden, gibt es eine chirurgische Alternative die Knorpelzerstörung aufzuhalten und den Gelenkersatz zumindest hinauszuschieben.
