Ways Out of the Pain Spiral: Psychological–Homeopathic Pain Therapy

Dorit Zimmermann

Psychological–homeopathic pain therapy combines the advantages of classical homeopathy with those of biographical–systemic behavioural therapy. It begins with an anamnesis of several hours and the prescription of a homeopathic remedy, followed by a behaviour-oriented holistic pain therapy.

Since chronic pain often cannot be eliminated, the primary goal of the psychological–homeopathic pain therapy is to significantly alleviate the pain as well as all other complaints the patient is currently suffering from. This is accompanied by behavioural therapy sessions at regular intervals, which focus on dealing with the pain and its meaning for the patient. The way out of the pain spiral is through three stages: understanding, accepting and letting go.
