Aims To evaluate clinical outcomes of patients treated with Stentfix device.
Methods 31 consecutive patients (median age: 58 years; males, 80%), with diseases of different
etiology and localization (upper or lower GI tract) were enrolled. For each patient,
OTSC device was placed to prevent FCSEMS migration. All patients received longitudinal
follow-up.
Results Technical and clinical success was achieved in all patients. In one patient the distal
edge of the stent has turned over as it passed from the duodenal bulb to the gastric
body.
Conclusions The Stentfix OTSC System appears to be a long term useful and safe device to prevent FCSEMS migration
in a variety of clinical scenarios.
