Abstract Text Fish bones can migrate through the digestive tract to the adjacent organ parenchyma,
causing several complications such as perforation, infection or bleeding. The endoscopic
alternatives in these cases are limited and a surgical approach is often required.
Cholangioscopy and pancreatoscopy are expanding techniques with an increasing number
of indications and could represent an alternative to surgery in selected cases. We
report two cases in which extra-anatomic cholangioscopy was performed to access to
a liver and pancreatic abscesses, allowing the extraction of these foreign bodies.
