Abstract Text Biliary radio-frequency ablation is usually reserved for pre-stenting ablation in
cases of hilar cholangiocarcinoma. It's role post self-expanding metal stent(SEMS)
insertion in bile duct is less commonly known. We describe a case of malignant peri-ampullary
growth post SEMS who presented with features of blocked SEMS and mild cholangitis.
We used Intraductal stent RFA (IS-RFA) to recanalize the blocked SEMS and provide
an alternative treatment options to these patients.
