Cavernous sinus meningioma presents a management challenge to present-day neurosurgeons.
We aim to propose a modular approach to the cavernous sinus, based on a triple-layer
decompression through a case of a 41-year-old woman presenting with oculomotor cranial
nerve palsy and vision loss. Minimally-invasive-posterolateral approach (MIPLATTA)
was performed in the aforementioned patient, achieving GTR of the tumor and improvement
of preop oculomotor nerve palsy.
