Abstract

It was found that 6-Aminochrysene significantly reduces the estrogenic activity of triphenylethylene; this effort is most probably connected with the inducing activity of 6-aminochrysene towards microsomal drug-metabolizing enzymes, as a similar reducing effect was displayed by benz[a]anthracene and, to a lesser extent, by 13H-dibenzo[a,g]fluorene, both of which are also potent enzyme inducers.
