Abstract

From the benzene extract of roots of Tabebuia rosea, lapachol, dehydrotectol, dehydro-α-lapachone, dehydro-iso-α-lapachone and β-sitosterol have been isolated. The benzene extract of heartwood of Oroxylum in dieu m afforded prunetin and β-sitosterol.
