Abstract

A kaempferol 3–rhamnosyl-glucosyl-galactoside was isolated and identified for the first time, together with two isomeric gallates of kaempferol 3–0–glucoside, two of quercetin 3–0–glucoside and two of myricetin 3–0–glucoside. Quercetin and myricetin 3–rutinosides, kaempferol and quercetin 3–galactosides, mangiferin, kaempferol, quercetin, myricetin, gallic acid and chlorogenic acid were also isolated and identified from the leaves of Peltophorum africanum.
