Zusammenfassung

Die Kapillarmikroskopie gehört zu den ältesten bildgebenden Verfahren in der Rheumatologie. Empfehlungen zur Nomenklatur und Durchführung wurden unlängst publiziert. Zertifizierte Fortbildungskurse wurden etabliert. Die Möglichkeit der einfachen digitalen Archivierung und Befundungsstandards erhöhen die Qualität der Untersuchung weiter. Somit kann die Kapillarmikroskopie vermehrten Einsatz durch den Rheumatologen in Screening, Praxis, Klinik und Forschung finden.

Abstract

Capillary microscopy is one of the oldest imaging procedures in rheumatology. Recommendations on nomenclature and procedures have been published recently. Certified training, digital documentation, and standards for diagnostic interpretation have increased the quality of the investigation. Thus, capillary microscopy will most certainly experience a more widespread use by rheumatologists in screening, daily practice, and research.
