Eine In-house-Real-time-PCR zum Nachweis parodontopathogener Erreger sollte mit dem kommerziell erhältlichen Testkit microIdent® bzw. microIdent®plus verglichen werden. Dazu wurden 308 subgingivale Plaqueproben von 27 Patienten mit chronischer Parodontitis vor Beginn der komplexen parodontalen Therapie sowie 3, 6 und 12 Monate danach mit beiden Methoden untersucht. Die Ergebnisse korrelierten signifikant miteinander, sodass beide Verfahren zur Diagnostik und Therapiekontrolle eingesetzt werden können.

An in house real time-PCR for detection of periodontopathogenic bacteria was to compare with the commercially available testkit microIdent® resp. microIdent®plus. 308 subgingival plaque samples from 27 patients with chronic periodontitis were investigated with both methods before and 3, 6 and 12 months after periodontal treatment. Results correlated significantly. Following this both methods can be used for diagnostics and treatment control.
