Summary

Complex compounds of ruthenium(III) with 1,2-dimethylimidazole (CAS 1739-84-0), 2-phenylimidazole (CAS 670-96-2) and 2-aminobenzimidazole (CAS 934-32-7) were prepared and were characterised by physicochemical methods. Coordination sites were determined. The complexes were tested for cytotoxic activity using MTT (3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) dye-reduction assay and the values LD50 were evaluated.

Zusammenfassung

Synthese, physikalisch-chemische Charakterisierung und pharmakologische Untersuchung von neuen Ruthenium-(III)-Komplexen mit Imidazol- und Benzimidazol-Derivaten

Es wurden Komplexverbindungen von Ruthenium(III) mit 1,2-Dimethylimidazol (CAS 1739-84-0), 2-Phenylimidazol (CAS 670-96-2) und 2-Aminobenzimidazol (CAS 934-32-7) synthetisiert und physikalischchemisch charakterisiert. Die Koordinationsstellen wurden bestimmt. Die Komplexe wurden mittels Methylentetrazol (MTT) (3-(4,5-Dimethyl-2-thiazolyl) - 2,5- diphenyltetrazoliumbromid) -Farbreduktionsverfahren auf zytotoxische Aktivität getestet, und LD50-Werte wurden bestimmt.
