Zusammenfassung

Komplementäre onkologische Therapieverfahren ergänzen und bereichern die konventionellen Therapien der evidenzbasierten Schulmedizin (OP, Strahlen-, Chemo- und Antihormontherapie u. a.). Dazu gehören Methoden, die in jedem Stadium einer Krebserkrankung sinnvoll in ein koordiniertes Gesamtkonzept durch die behandelnden Chirurgen, Onkologen, Strahlentherapeuten und einem komplementären Arzt eingebettet sein sollten sowie vom Patienten selbst angewendet werden können und die von einer erweiterten Diagnostik über allgemeine Basismaßnahmen über Bewegung und Ernährung bis hin zur Anwendung von orthomolekularen Substanzen, Phytotherapie und sekundärer Pflanzenstoffe sowie weiterer komplementärer Verfahren reichen.

Abstract

Complementary oncological therapies supplement and enrich the conventional therapies of evidence-based orthodox medicine (surgery, radiation therapy, chemotherapy and antihormone therapy etc.). This includes methods, which should be appropriately embedded in a coordinated overall concept by the attending surgeon, oncologist, radiotherapist, and a complementary physician in every stage of a cancer disease, which can be used by the patients themselves, and which range from advanced diagnostics, a general basic measure, exercise and nutrition to the use of orthomolecular substances, phytotherapy and secondary plant substances as well as other complementary procedures.
