Zusammenfassung

Aktuelle Untersuchungen belegen die Bedeutung des intestinalen Mikrobioms für die menschliche Gesundheit. Eine Dysbiose hat nicht nur lokale Auswirkungen im Darm, sondern kann den gesamten Organismus betreffen und verschiedene Stoffwechselstörungen begünstigen. Wird die Zusammensetzung des Mikrobioms durch Pro- und Präbiotika positiv verändert, kann sich dies u. a. auch in einem verringerten Körpergewicht zeigen.
