Acyclic, multifunctionalized α,α′-disecondary ethers are synthesized with full control of chemo-, regio- and enantioselectivity. The synthesis starts from easily accessible epoxy tosylates and highly functionalized secondary alcohols. The reaction is simple and can be scaled up.
