Die kieferorthopädische Behandlung als Teil der modernen Parodontaltherapie

Zusammenfassung

In der modernen Parodontaltherapie werden keine Mühen gescheut, den Zahnhalteapparat zu reparieren und wieder aufzubauen, um ein für die Patienten ästhetisch befriedigendes Ergebnis und stabile parodontale Verhältnisse zu erreichen. Sehr oft kann dieses Ziel nur bei interdisziplinärem Vorgehen erreicht werden, und bei vielen Patienten mit einer Parodontalerkrankung kann eine kieferorthopädische Behandlung sehr hilfreich sein oder sogar die beste Behandlungsmethode darstellen. Viele orthodontische Bewegungen können eingesetzt werden, um parodontale Probleme vollständig zu lösen oder die Lösung dieser Probleme zu vereinfachen.

Zu diesen Problemen zählen die Extrusion, die Molarenaufrichtung und das Schließen von Lücken im Frontzahngebiet.

Diese Fälle können durch eine zuverlässige und wirksame Therapie wie die kieferorthopädische Behandlung profitieren, die es ermöglicht, parodontale Probleme zu lösen oder zu vermindern, indem unattraktive Gebisse mit einem reduzierten Zahnhalteapparat in gesunde Gewebe mit einem ansprechenden Lächeln umgewandelt werden.

Abstract

Modern periodontal therapy makes any effort in trying to repair and to reconstruct periodontal support providing for patients a satisfactory aesthetic result with a self maintaining periodontal environment.

A multidisciplinary approach is very often mandatory to reach this objective and in many periodontal cases orthodontic therapy may be of good help and sometimes the best choice of treatment.

In fact many orthodontic movements can be used to solve periodontal problems completely or to bring a large support to solve them.

Among these ones, we are considering dental extrusion, molars up-righting and closure of interdental anterior spaces.

All these clinical pictures will benefit of a predictable and effective approach such as orthodontic therapy that will enable to solve or improve periodontal problems transforming unattractive dentitions with reduced periodontium in helpy tissues and attractive smiles.
