Zusammenfassung

Zahlreiche klinisch-wissenschaftliche Studien in den vergangenen Jahren belegen die Effizienz ernährungsmedizinischer Interventionen zur Prävention und supportiven Behandlung der Osteoporose. Ziel der ärztlichen Beratung sollte die Verbesserung der enteralen Kalziumzufuhr und -resorption, der Vitamin-D- und Vitamin K1-Versorgung neben einer ausreichenden Sonnenlichtexposition sein. Beachtung sollen Kalzium-absorptionshemmende Nahrungsbestandteile und deren mengenmäßige Begrenzung finden.

Abstract

In recent years, the efficiency of nutritional intervention in the prevention and in the supportive treatment of osteoporosis has been emphasized. The main intention of medical advice is directed on improving the supply of both calcium and its enteral resorption and vitamin D and vitamin K1, in addition to an adequate sun exposure. Nutrients with an inhibitory effect on calcium absorption should be determined and their consumption limited.
