Zusammenfassung

In der Physiotherapie gibt es umfassende Weiterbildungen, wie z. B. den OMT-Abschluss in der Manuellen Therapie. Thema dieses Literaturüberblicks war, ob Therapeuten mit höherem Abschluss bessere Behandlungsergebnisse bei Patienten erreichen. Die gefundenen Artikel lassen vermuten, dass Therapeuten mit höherer Ausbildung weniger Behandlungen benötigen bzw. ihre Patienten bessere Fragebogenergebnisse erzielen.

Abstract

There is comprehensive post-graduate professional training in physiotherapy, i. e. the OMT qualification in manual therapy. The question examined in this literature review was whether therapists with higher post-graduate qualification achieve better treatment outcomes with their patients. The relevant articles reveal that therapists with higher qualification need fewer interventions and that their patients score better questionnaire results.
