Before I make a comment about the current issue, I would like to thank the readers of Seminars in Reproductive Medicine for their continued interest and support of this outstanding journal which brings current up-to-date information in the field of reproduction. Everywhere I travel reproductive endocrinologists comment on the quality and quantity of the reviews. I would like to thank all of our editorial board members, guest editors, and authors for their hard work over the past 15 years.

This month's issue “Women's Health Initiative: Lessons Learned 20 Plus Years After” is an important review of the benefits and risks of hormone therapy. It also will serve as my last issue as Editor-in-Chief for Seminars in Reproductive Medicine. I have enjoyed serving you for 15 years and I will remain on the editorial board. I am leaving the journal in good hands with the new co-editors-in-chief, Dr. Legro and Dr. Bulun.

Thanks again to all who work at Thieme.
