Broncho-Pulmonary Squamous Cell Carcinoma Complicated by an Esophago-Bronchial Fistula
A 56-years-old man followed up for a broncho-pulmonary squamous cell carcinoma with a pancreatic metastasis, under chemotherapy. He was admitted for the treatment of an aphagia associated with false routes. Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy showed a large esophago-bronchial fistula at 30cm from the dental arches. The decision in a multidisciplinary meeting was to put a fully covered metallic stent as a palliative treatment.
