Refluxdiagnostik – Pro MUS

Zusammenfassung

In der Diagnostik des vesikoureterorenalen Refluxes existieren verschiedene diagnostische Modalitäten. Im Kindesalter ist es wichtig, möglichst schonende bildgebende Verfahren einzusetzen. Mit der Miktionsurosonografie (MUS) existiert ein bildgebendes Verfahren ohne ionisierende Strahlung, das sich durch hohe Sensitivität und diagnostische Sicherheit auszeichnet. Im Beitrag wird das Vorgehen bei der Untersuchung dargestellt und die Vorteile aufgezeigt.

Abstract

There are various imaging modalities available for the diagnosis of vesicoureterorenal reflux. In childhood, it is important to use the gentlest diagnostic technique available. Contrast-enhanced voiding urosonography (ceVUS) allows for dynamic imaging of the urinary tract without exposure to ionising radiation. ceVUS is characterised by its high sensitivity and diagnostic accuracy for the evaluation of reflux. This manuscript presents the procedure in detail and provides information about the advantages of this modality.
