Abstract
Knowledge of complications in rhytidectomy remains an integral part of the surgical procedure that all aesthetic plastic surgeons should be aware of. Complications in facial aesthetics are often challenging for the patient–physician dynamic. This chapter describes common complications as well as those that appear more infrequently and provides evidence-based management that all aesthetic surgeons should be familiar with.
