Abstract

This chapter is an update to the earlier Science of Synthesis contribution (Section 14.4.2) describing methods for the synthesis of 2H-1-benzopyran-2-thiones (thiocoumarins). It summarizes new synthetic technologies and surveys the literature published in the period 2003–2019.
