Study of 20 cases treated with Ilex paraguensis

Abstract

20 children suffering from enuresis were treated in an open trial with Ilex paraguensis (maté tea). The treatment lasted 2 months. The results were complete disappearance of the enuresis and improvement in the psychological symptoms in 50%. 10% of patients improved at the start of the treatment but relapsed. 40% did not respond to treatment.
