Summary

Seventeen patients suffering from subacute and chronic rheumatoid arthritis, 20 to 69 years old, and with duration varying from 6 months to 20 years, were treated with steroidal extracts from their own urine. All of them had a preliminary aggravation soon after taking the extract. Fifteen patients responded favourably as judged by their general condition, and improvement in swelling and mobility of the affected joints.
