Abstract

Over the last few years, apparent dissatisfaction with undergraduate medical education has stimulated some medical schools to change their curricula to varying degrees, both in content and philosophy. In line with Government thinking on a primary care led National Health Service, the change has stimulated use of general practice and the community as an educational resource. This paper describes the curriculum changes in one medical school and the opportunities that have arisen, allowing homoeopathy to be taught at an early stage of student development.
