Post traumatic entrapment neuropathy of digital nerve — A case report and review of literature

Abstract

We report a case of compressive neuropathy in a digit caused by entrapment in fracture callus of the phalanx. The lesion was resected with rapid relief of symptoms. This cause must be kept in mind in cases of phalangeal fractures which present with digital compressive neuropathy.
