Abstract

The incidence of allergic conditions is increasing. The treatment of allergic conditions by homoeopathy is one of the most extensively investigated aspects of clinical homoeopathy. The author reviews the use of isotherapy and other homoeopathic therapeutic strategies in homoeopathy. Open studies of homoeopathic treatment of allergic conjunctivitis, rhinitis, asthma and sensitivity to Cotrimoxazole are discussed. Controlled clinical trials of Galphimia glanca in hayfever and specific isotherapy in hayfever and asthma are discussed and criticised.
