Zusammenfassung

Ventrale Spondylodesetechniken werden regelhaft zur Versorgung von Verletzungen der Halswirbelsäule angewandt. Dieser Beitrag soll Ihnen Indikationen, die technische Umsetzung, Nachbehandlung wie auch die potenziellen Komplikationen ventraler Spondylodesetechniken an der Halswirbelsäule näher bringen.

Abstract

Anterior decompression and instrumented fusion is frequently used to treat cervical fractures and dislocations. This educational paper will describe the indications, the technical implementation, potential complications and the follow-up treatment of anterior cervical decompression and fusion techniques.
