Die Kipptischuntersuchung (auch Tilt-Test) ist ein Verfahren zur Untersuchung der Funktion des kardiovaskulären autonomen Nervensystems [1]: Über eine Beurteilung der passiven Orthostasereaktion (Anpassung des autonomen Nervensystems an passive Lageänderungen des Patienten) können eine orthostatische Hypotonie (OH), vasovagale Synkopen oder eine chronische orthostatische Intoleranz (COI) einschließlich des posturalen orthostatischen Tachykardiesyndroms (POTS) identifiziert werden [2].
