Zusammenfassung

Das Fibromyalgiesyndrom (FMS) ist eine chronische Schmerzerkrankung, die mit vielen verschiedenen Symptomen einhergeht. Die Diagnosestellung ist bei Fokussierung auf Einzelsymptome nicht einfach. Dementsprechend lange kann es dauern, bis Patienten adäquat behandelt werden. Entsprechende Fragebogen, Diagnosekriterien und die S3-Leitlinie Fibromyalgiesyndrom unterstützen darin, das FMS zu erkennen und zu therapieren.
