Mammografie und Sonografie nutzen differente physikalische Prinzipien zur Bilderzeugung. Welche Patientinnen mit Mammakarzinom profitieren von einer ergänzenden Sonografie und welche nicht? Gibt es ausreichend wissenschaftliche Evidenz für den Einsatz der Mammasonografie innerhalb eines organisierten Screeningprogramms? Oder stehen wir vor einem Paradigmenwechsel hin zur personalisierten risikoadaptierten Früherkennung?
