Zur lokoregionären Tumorkontrolle hepatozellulärer und intrahepatischer cholangiozellulärer Karzinome ist die Radiofrequenzablation (RFA) ein bekanntes und etabliertes Verfahren. Seit einigen Jahren kommt sie nun auch zur Therapie maligner biliärer Strikturen und verschlossener Metallgitterstents zum Einsatz. Wie das geht und was es dabei zu beachten gilt, schildert dieser Beitrag.
