Versorgung mit 99mTc und 68Ga durch Curium
Supply with 99mTc and 68Ga by CuriumPublication History

Abstract
Curium is setting special value on supply of 99mTc, which is still used for about 80 % of Nuclear Medicine procedures. For this, the company has invested a lot of money, e. g. for outrage reserve capacities and the conversion to LEU. On the whole, supply of 99mTc is a very complex endeavour, that can only be organised sustainable in future by bringing cost development, pricing and reimbursement in a mutual context.
Curium is not only providing products for SPECT imaging, but offers additionally the generator GalliAd – a building block for future PET diagnostics with kit solutions (“PET as easy as SPECT”).
Beside 68Ga- and 99mTc generators, Curium is holding a multitude of nuclides available – to enable also “exotic” Nuclear Medicine procedures.
Curium is pursuing the goal to offer Nuclear Medicine a long-term, sustainable, and reliable supply through investments into its own infrastructure, supply cooperations with other producers and development of new tracers.
