Plastische Rekonstruktion der Mamma nach Mastektomie

Nahezu jeder operative Eingriff an der Brust führt zu einem Gewebedefekt. Sollte eine Mastektomie erforderlich sein, muss die Patientin über die Möglichkeit der plastischen Rekonstruktion aufgeklärt werden. Zu einer plastischen Rekonstruktion nach Mastektomie gibt es mehrere Verfahren zu Eigengewebe oder Implantaten, die in diesem Artikel besprochen werden sollen.

Kernaussagen
  • Nach Mastektomie sollte unbedingt eine Brustrekonstruktion angeboten werden.

  • Die Art der Brustrekonstruktion und die Rekonstruktionsverfahren sind abhängig vom Wunsch der Patientin und den technischen Möglichkeiten und Voraussetzungen.

  • Das operative Vorgehen muss sich in das Gesamtkonzept der Behandlung der Grunderkrankung einfügen.

  • Die Indikation und das Timing des operativen Eingriffs ist stark interdisziplinär geprägt und erfordert eine gute Kommunikation und Zusammenarbeit der verschiedenen Disziplinen.

  • Eine hohe Vielfalt von Eigengewebsrekonstruktionen ermöglicht die individuelle Verwendung des am besten geeigneten Gewebetransfers.

  • Implantatrekonstruktionen können simultan mit einer Anpassung der kontralateralen Seite kombiniert werden und somit auch ästhetischen Ansprüchen der Patientin gerecht werden.
