Mythos Kapselverkürzung – Pathologische Prozesse bei subakromialem Schmerzsyndrom

Die eingeschränkte Innenrotation gilt als eine der Ursachen für das subakromiale Schmerzsyndrom. Ob dafür wirklich eine Verkürzung der posterioren Gelenkkapsel verantwortlich ist, ist fraglich, da wir mehrmals täglich die fast maximale Innenrotation durchführen. Die oft empfohlene Dehnung riskiert, eine normale Kapsel lax zu machen.
