CT-Screening beim Lungenkarzinom – wie ist die Evidenz?

Stand der Dinge

Bis heute gibt es in Deutschland kein anerkanntes Verfahren zur Früherkennung des Lungenkarzinoms. Lungenkrebs ist bei Männern die zweithäufigste, bei Frauen die dritthäufigste Krebserkrankung. Die Früherkennung des Lungenkarzinoms erhöht die Überlebenschance, da in den frühen Stadien eine kurative Lokaltherapie möglich ist. Da im Frühstadium aber meist keine klinischen Symptome auftreten, wird die Erkrankung häufig erst in fortgeschrittenen Stadien diagnostiziert.
