Chlamydien-Infektionen
Chlamydien-Infektionen können je nach Infektionsort unterschiedliche klinische Symptome verursachen. Chlamydien sind zellwandlose intrazelluläre Bakterien, die sich in mikrobiologischen Standard-Kulturen nicht anzüchten lassen. Die Chlamydien-Proktitis ist eine wichtige Differenzialdiagnose bei Patient*innen mit ulzerösen Veränderungen des Enddarmes. Therapeutisch ist Doxycyclin anderen Substanzen vorzuziehen.
