Das geriatrische Kaninchen

Kaninchen können je nach Rasse eine Lebenserwartung von bis zu 12 Jahren oder höher haben. Kenntnisse über altersspezifisch auftretende Krankheiten sind deshalb für Tierärzte wichtig. Dieser Artikel soll einen Überblick darüber geben, welche Erkrankungen besonders häufig bei Kaninchensenioren auftreten und welche Anpassungen an Haltung sowie Ernährung von Bedeutung sind.
