Heimische Superfoods – Rote Bete

„Rote Bete für rote Bäckchen!“, empfahl der Kinderarzt früher. Doch nicht jedes Kind mag den erdigen Geschmack des Wurzelgemüses. Auch galten die Knollen damals als eisenreich, was sich als falsch herausgestellt hat. Wissenschaftlich erwiesen ist jedoch, dass Rote Bete die Fließeigenschaften des Blutes verbessert und dadurch auch die Durchblutung des Gehirns anregen kann. Das macht sie zu einem Superfood für Prüflinge, Gestresste, Ältere und Menschen in der Rekonvaleszenz.
