Die onkoplastische Chirurgie und ihr Stellenwert

Vor knapp 35 Jahren hat Werner Audretsch in Düsseldorf begonnen, nach größeren Defekten bei brusterhaltender Operation, diese mit Muskellappen zu decken – dies war der Beginn der sogenannten onkoplastischen Chirurgie. Jean Yves Petit und Krishna Clough aus Mailand und Paris sowie Douglas McMillan aus Nottingham und Peter Schrenk aus Linz haben dann vermehrt Techniken der Brustreduktionsplastik dazu verwendet, größere und auch kleinere Defekte zu korrigieren. Da dies alles in einer Operation durchgeführt wurde, haben sich daraus nach Clough 2 verschiedene onkoplastische Techniktypen [1], nach Tübingen mit der Sofortrekonstruktion sogar 4 verschiedene Typen beschreiben lassen [2].
