ω-3 und Anti-Aging

Zusammenfassung

In den letzten Jahrzehnten wurden viele Substanzen als Anti-Aging-Wundermittel gehypt. Selten gab es jedoch belastbare Belege dafür, dass die vollmundigen Versprechungen erfüllt werden konnte. Bei ω-3-Fettsäuren (im Folgenden nur ω-3 genannt) scheint dies anders zu sein, da mittlerweile eine Reihe von Studien und sogar Metaanalysen existieren, die das Postulat einer lebensverlängernden und jungerhaltenden Wirkung von ω-3 stützen.
