Der Anspruch an Radiologietechnologinnen/MTR ist vielfältig. Um als
Radiologietechnologin[1]/MTR Untersuchungen an Patientinnen
qualitativ hochwertig durchzuführen, benötigt es sowohl Fachwissen,
Professionalität und handwerkliches Können als auch einen guten Umgang mit
Patientinnen. Das bedeutet: Die Radiologietechnologinnen/MTR benötigen Hard
Skills und Soft Skills Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die wesentlichen
Soft Skills unserer Berufsgruppe mit dem Schwerpunkt auf deren Bedeutung
bezüglich Patientinnenkontakt. Zusätzlich wird aufgezeigt wie Soft Skills
ausgebaut und trainiert werden können und damit sowohl die
Patientinnenzufriedenheit erhöht als auch der eigene Arbeitstag optimiert werden
kann.
Abstract
The demands on radiological technologists/MTRs are manifold. In order to carry
out high-quality examinations on patients as a radiological technologist/MTR,
you need specialist knowledge, professionalism and craftsmanship as well as a
good handling with patients. This means: hard skills and soft skills are needed.
Especially for the performance of a mammography, a lot of sensitivity is
necessary – hardly any other examination brings us so close to the patient and
the compliance of the patient (willingness to cooperate in the investigation) is
essential. This article gives an overview of the essential soft skills of our
profession with a focus on their importance in patient contact. In addition, it
will be shown how soft skills can be developed and trained, thus increasing
patient satisfaction and optimizing one’s own workday.
